Lone Star Buffet - The Main Event
If you like down home cooking that's reminiscent of the Old South, then you'll love our all-you-can-eat buffet featuring traditional Southern-style BBQ fare such as pulled pork, rice, hash, hush puppies, and cole slaw, in addition to some of the best fried chicken you'll find anywhere. We rotate through a variety of signature Lone Star dishes such macaroni and cheese, tomato pie, ribs, shrimp and grits and banana pudding, in addition to seasonally available fresh vegetables, both from local fields and the South Carolina's Farmer's Market. The buffet features an array of desserts, including homemade cakes, pies and puddings (homemade pending availability). And yes, there's a salad bar and seasonal fruit too... an excellent selection for a barbecue joint, at that.
If you leave hungry, it certainly won't be for lack of options.
*Include any 3 sides from the buffet, with the exception of extra entree. Staff serves.
Lone Star also offers a variety of seasonal seafood baskets. Check at the counter for availability.
In addition to the above, Lone Star offers the following special entrees beginning at 5:00 PM Thursday-Saturday, and all day Sunday.
Take out orders are popular at Lone Star. Any and all items on the buffet are available by the plate or in larger quantities. Call (803) 854-2000 for pricing on these items or any other special needs or requests.
Lone Star has three separate dining rooms. The largest is Shuler's Dining Hall, which seats approximately 90 guests. Further down, there is Dantzler's Country Store, with seating for up to 55. On the far end, there is Zeagler's General Store and Post Office, comfortably accommodating up to 60 people. A large screened porch and outdoor courtyard adjoin Dantzler's, providing additional space, whether on a busy Sunday, or for special events. Learn about the history of Lone Star here.
